Rig Up A Rain Barrel

By Rochester Storm Water Educator Megan Moeller

Did you know 1” of rain on a 1000-square-foot roof will generate over 623 gallons of water? Installing a rain barrel (or two!) can capture that resource and bring many benefits, including: lowering water bills, reducing water pollution, creating healthy soils, and making happy plants. Join us to learn why and how you should rig up a rain barrel at your home. This program is presented by Megan Duffey Moeller, the Storm Water Educator for the City of Rochester.
