Minnesota’s climate is already changing and there’s mounting evidence that those changes are leading to larger rainstorms, more runoff, more erosion, and in some cases larger floods. In the past decade, Southeast Minnesota has experienced three “1,000 year flood events” the most ever recorded in the region. Learn how climate change has already affected the Zumbro Watershed, what we should expect in the future, and how we can mitigate and reduce the impacts of climate change in our region.
