Solutions to Stormwater Pollution

Megan Moeller, Rochester Stormwater Educator

Nov. 12, 6:30 p.m.

Rain and snow melt that falls on buildings, streets, parking lots, and other impervious surfaces cannot soak into the ground. Stormwater collects dirt, debris, and chemicals as it travels across these hard surfaces, carrying them into our lakes, streams, and rivers; often without treatment. Polluted stormwater can harm people and aquatic plants and animals. Join us to learn what simple practices you can implement on your property, be it residential or commercial, to minimize your contribution to stormwater pollution.
