The State of Zumbro River Fish

Jeff Weiss, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources

Thursday, June 11, 6:30 p.m.

Cascade Meadow Wetland and Environmental Science Center

2900--19th St. NW, Rochester, MN 55901

The Zumbro River has a healthy smallmouth bass population north of the Zumbro River Dam, but how are fish doing in the rest of the river? Join MN DNR Fisheries Biologist Jeff Weiss to learn were fish are doing well, where they’re doing poorly, and what is affecting fish health in the Zumbro River.

This talk is part of the Zumbro Watershed Partnership’s “Water Ways” Speaker Series that takes place the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cascade Meadow Wetland and Environmental Science Center in Rochester.
