The State of the Zumbro River Watershed

Kelly O'Hara, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

Thursday, April 9, 6:30 p.m.

Cascade Meadow Wetland and Environmental Science Center

2900--19th St. NW, Rochester, MN 55901

For the past 10 years, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and local partners have been testing waters within the Zumbro River Watershed. Now there is enough data to determine the status of our local river. Hear how the monitoring and assessment process works, and what you can do to improve water quality within the watershed. The MPCA is charged with enacting the requirements of the federal Clean Water Act.

This talk is part of the Zumbro Watershed Partnership’s “Water Ways” Speaker Series that takes place the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cascade Meadow Wetland and Environmental Science Center in Rochester.
