How Farmers are Protecting Water and Soil Resources

Ryan Buck, Farmer, President of the Minnesota Corn Growers

Thursday, February 12, 6:30 p.m.

Cascade Meadow Wetland and Environmental Science Center

2900--19th St. NW, Rochester, MN 55901

We hear a lot of talk in the media about how today’s farming practices are leading to erosion and river pollution in southeastern Minnesota. But what those stories don’t mention are the thousands of farmers working hard on their farms to keep our waters clean and keep our soil on the field. Hear what your neighbors are doing to protect our natural resources on working farms.

This talk is part of the Zumbro Watershed Partnership’s “Water Ways” Speaker Series that takes place the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cascade Meadow Wetland and Environmental Science Center in Rochester.
